We provide a range of communal, care and outdoor spaces and rooms catered to each of our residents
Here at Meadowbrook every room is decorated to a high standard whether it’s your own personal bedroom and bathroom or a communal space such as a lounge or dining room.
We even have a bar where you can enjoy your favourite tipple! Our well cared for home is your home too and we understand that there will be times you want to socialise and times you value your privacy. For this reason we have special locks on bedroom doors and to aid mobility a passenger lift assists access between all floors.
We promote a home from home environment to the extent that we can even accommodate pets by arrangement and our activities have also included being visited by exotic animals! We also have outdoor spaces where you can enjoy a spot of sunshine or just watch the world go by.
Arrange a visit to Meadowbrook Manor and see how we can tailor our services based on the care that you require.
Just because you no longer live in your own home does not mean Meadowbrook cannot feel like a home from home. We actively encourage residents to have their care rooms suited to their individual tastes and this can include bringing their own furniture, tv and treasured possessions. Phone points and en-suite facilities are also standard. Long gone are the gloomy residential homes of the past – in Meadowbrook you will find gaily decorated bird print wall paper and a rocking horse in one of the communal living areas!
At Meadowbrook we understand the need for social interaction – it’s a basic human need and we actively encourage residents to make friends and join in with the range of activities on offer that include in-house entertainment and trips to the seaside and local garden centre. Our communal spaces are decorated to encourage relaxation. You will find a communal living room with a huge picture window overlooking green fields beyond and a cosy living area with fire, books and even a rocking horse!
Our dining room has a huge skylight letting in natural light and our large green plants give the feel of mother nature, but everyone benefits from spending time outdoors and we actively encourage residents to do so. Whether it’s to enjoy a coffee alone or with friends, watch (and feed) the birds or just admire the greenery, our staff are more than happy to assist you with mobility so that you can still enjoy a little of the great outdoors in our gardens in Garforth.
